Now that we've finished the un-assessed little projects, its time to move onto the assessed one. Dum dum. The project is a research project, assessed on repeated experimentation within the project. The idea is to keep producing work, evaluating it- what's wrong with it? What's right with it? And to build a body of research, producing more and more ideas, and having a piece of work that gradually comes and fits together through trial and error.
Still having trouble for coming up with ideas under the umbrella of 'Transitional spaces' and after talks with peers and tutors, I want to make a piece about something personal- something that matters to me. In the past few years of doing photography briefs on courses I've never had the chance to do something that really matters, or really had a deep meaningful thought on what I'd like to accomplish, or produce as a lens practitioner. So this is my chance I guess.
Now to start the beauty of thinking of an 'idea' hmph. I'll start by brainstorming ideas/concepts/interests, see where that leads me. Get a few books out from the library and grab a camera, that usually works. Here I go.
